Cooking Classes with the Austin Hatcher Foundation

It was a great night out of the restaurant for Leslie and Terrance as they ventured to Austin Hatcher for a cooking class! Our restaurant family have been long time supporters of the organization and recently helped them to outfit the commercial prep kitchen when they moved into their new facility. During this project the idea for a cooking class for children battling pediatric cancer was born.

Each month, members of our team head over to Austin Hatcher for a tasty lesson on cooking with an air fryer. These poplar kitchen gadgets are easy to use and provide a safe and healthy way to prepare a quick meal. We’ve prepared numerous dishes and this time we tried our hand at parmesan crusted chicken and s’mores!

The Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer’s mission is to erase the effects of pediatric cancer and optimize each child’s quality of life through essential specialized intervention beginning at the time of diagnosis and continuing through survivorship. Pediatric cancer affects more than just the patient, and that’s why the local organization offers family programs to strengthen resilience by building self-confidence and social- skills while developing lasting, meaningful relationships.

We invite you to learn more about Austin Hatcher and the difference they make in our community, and maybe try out s’mores in your air fryer at home!
