We're Ready to FEED You
After much consideration we are excited to open our doors again after 8 long weeks for dine-in service beginning Monday, May 11th. We have waited to open until we were able to work with our team to create a safe environment and set realistic expectations as we embark on the journey to the “new normal.”
We understand that there are still many of our friends and neighbors that remain concerned about the COVID-19 pandemic and are taking responsible steps to reassure our guests that their safety and well-being remains our utmost priority. We value your trust and strive to provide the assurance and peace of mind that you are able to enjoy meals in the comfort of our dining areas.
As we slowly begin resuming operations, we will only be utilizing 18 of our 52 dining tables and have temporarily discontinued seating at the bar. By only seating 6 tables each in the tavern area, dining room and patio we will be able to achieve 10-15 feet between tables and adhere to current social distancing guidelines and best practices.
Additionally, we will transition to a reservation platform for both lunch and dinner service. If there are remaining tables available, guests will be sat on a first come, first served basis. Our host stand has been placed outside the main table-side entrance and there will be no waiting in our inside lobby area. Rather, guests will be able to check-in with our hosts and notified via text 10-15 minutes prior to their anticipated seating. All guests waiting to be seated are asked to wait 6 feet apart. We will also maintain 20-30 minute lulls between seatings to allow ample time for sanitizing.
We are also placing new standards and practices into place to help maintain a safe dining experience for both our staff and guests. In addition to limiting the number of guests inside the restaurant, we have:
Assigned dedicated teams to continuously clean and sanitize high traffic areas, such as door handles and bathrooms
Each team member will have their temperature taken before entering the building
All team members will wear masks and gloves, routinely changing as necessary
Disposable silverware kits will be available
In lieu of salt and pepper grinders, we will be utilizing single use salt and pepper packets
Traditional menus will be replaced with disposable menus that will only be used once
Parties will be limited to a maximum of 6 guests
As we open for modified dining service, we will continue to offer carry-out services, including cocktails. Guests may call the restaurant at 423-708-8500 to place an order for carry-out. When arriving to pick up your order, we ask that you enter through the main table side entrance and pick-up your order at the bar.
To make a lunch or dinner reservation, please email the restaurant team at feedtableandtavern@gmail.com with your name, phone number, date of visit, desired dining time, and number in your party.
We are taking big precautions as we re-open in hope that we do our part to help Chattanoogans feel comfortable as they begin to enjoy our city once again and help support our local economy. We look forward to serving you in a controlled environment and taking care of our community in small bites.
