Giving Tuesday with The Bethlehem Center

Throughout the month of November, we partnered with 1885 Grill and Tremont Tavern to help our friends at The Bethlehem Center. Through a series of wine and beer dinners, along with a giveback night, we were able to collectively donate $2,240 to help them re-instate a before school program for children in the Alton Park community.

In addition to the monetary donation, we were able work with our partners to replace the grease trap, making their kitchen functional again. We also were fortunate enough to supply the turkeys for the Center’s Community Thanksgiving Dinner.

For nearly 100 years, The Bethlehem Center has worked to empower the inner-city youth and families to lead responsible lives by providing discipleship, education and leadership development. They serve as a lighthouse in the community for both students and families through the Read to Lead Academy, The Bethlehem Leadership Unit and Community Connection initiative.
