Thank You Chattanooga For Our First Year

It’s hard to believe that it has been one year since we opened the doors and served our first guests in this great city. Without the dedication and support of the Chattanooga community, we truly believe that we wouldn’t be where we are today. From the first day building renovations began, through opening month jitters and growing pains, you have supported us every step of the way. Our success this first year was only possible because of you.

While the year certainly had its share of challenges, it proved to be equally as rewarding and exciting. We could not have been more proud of Chef Charlie Loomis; first, the nation watched along with us as he competed and won Food Network’s “Cooks vs. Cons” by wowing the judges with his turkey bacon meatball hot brown and hot chocolate chicken. He was also honored as the recipient of the Spring Mountain Farms’ Celebrate the Chef Award.

During this first year, we had the distinct privilege of being invited to participate in several cooking challenges throughout the city. First, we accepted the challenge of competing in the Cast Iron Cookoff at the Chattanooga Market, and we were thrilled to be deemed the winners. Next, we proudly took home the title of Best Wings at the Tennessee Whiskey Festival Wing Off.

As we’ve grown, we have made several changes to the restaurant in order to create a warmer, more enjoyable, and more comfortable atmosphere for each guest we serve. We added rugs and artwork to the dining room to minimize the noise from the kitchen so that you can enjoy your dinner conversation as much as the food. Additionally, we added screens to the patio to block out the hot afternoon sun. Your feedback was paramount in helping us identify areas of improvement, and we can’t thank you enough. We will continually strive to implement changes in order to enhance the space and your dining experience.

In the coming year, we have a variety of exciting events and activities planned. We will continue to host trivia, bluegrass and local live music, but we are also be adding a few new events, including Monday Food Fights, Saturday Night Patio Parties and Sunday evening dinners.

Chattanooga, thank you again for making this past year one for the record books. With your continued love and support, we eagerly move forward into a second year filled with farm fresh cuisine, unique cocktails, craft beers, local entertainment and a great time! Cheers to our second year, and to you, Chattanooga!!
